Igor V. Vilnit

The general annual meeting of shareholders elected Igor V. Vilnit Director General for CDB ME "Rubin" 29 June, 2012.

He was born 1 February 1956 in Leningrad.

Graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute's Shipbuilding Department in 1979 and was sent to work for the Rubin Design Bureau (currently CDB ME "Rubin"). With his career made through all designer positions from a design engineer to Discipline Chief Designer, in 2007 I. Vilnit was appointed Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer, and in 2010 he became First Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer.

Igor V. Vilnit has a Doctor's degree in science and he is a corresponding member of A.M. Prokhorov Academy of Engineering Sciences.

His achievements in the field of production and research were rewarded with the title of Honorary Designer of the Russian Federation in 2001 and RF Government Science and Technology prize in 2002 and 2019. Igor V. Vilnit also won the Certificate of Appreciation from RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the titles of Honorary Shipbuilder (2015) and Honorary Engineer (2020).
