Sakhalin-2

Molikpaq Platform (Piltun-Astokhskoye-A)

One of Russia's largest oil & gas offshore projects at Sakhalin was a phased development of Piltun-Astokhskoe oil field and Lunskoe gas field; Rubin was involved in the production of the Molikpaq offshore ice-resistant facility. The platform was commissioned in 1999 and since that time has been operating in harsh Sakhalin shelf conditions with high seismic activity and heavy ice loads.

Rubin was contracted by the Sakhalin Energy to design the Molikpaq substructure. Later, the detailed design of the reservoir pressure maintenance module was done. Engineering support during the substructure construction was also provided by Rubin.

Lunskoe-A Platform

Contracted by AMEC, Rubin produced the detailed design of the accommodation module and helideck and contributed to the engineering support during the construction by the Samsumg Heavy Industries.

The design was based on a 3D PDS Model.

The platform was put into operation in 2006.

Piltun-Astokhskoye-B Platform
