By the Russian Federation Presidential Decree, the staff of the Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering Rubin is awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky for a substantial contribution to strengthening the defence potential of Russia. Today, Nikolai Patrushev, Aide to the President of Russia and Chairman of the Marine Board of the Russian Federation has presented the Order to the Director General of Rubin Design Bureau Igor Vilnit.

"Whatever challenges have been assigned by nation's leaders, they've always been solved by Rubin designers and experts in the optimal way based on the most advanced scientific and technical achievements, promoting the enhancement of defence capabilities and technological sovereignty of the country, greater prestige of Russian engineering school for underwater shipbuilding and development of national shipbuilding industry," emphasised Aide to the President.

In the past, Rubin Design Bureau was decorated with four orders for the accomplishments in the establishment and development of national submarine force: Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1944), Order of Lenin (1963), Order of the October Revolution (1976), and Order of Lenin (1984). Modern achievements of the Design Bureau are honoured with Letters of Gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation (in 2001 and 2016).
